After spending the first 30 years of his life in the beautiful (and cold) landscape of Wisconsin, it was time for Mario to follow his passions (and his soon-to-be Husband Will Medina) to Sunny South Florida. With 15 years of experience directing creative teams in the global Advertising Industry and common goal bringing Joy and Love into this world, he took the leap in 202 and joined the Destination Weddings Expert team in their mission to bring each Destination Wedding vision to fruition through their couple´s eyes.

Mario holds the honor of continiung the Destination Weddings Expert legacy through the vision that Will built together. It´s though this that he strives to ensure every Destination Weddings Expert couple is able to experience the best that this dream has to offer.

The daughter of an award-winning travel writer, Kimberly was "bitten" by the travel bug at an early age.
Thanks to a successful career with Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts as Director of International Sales and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts as International Sales/Marketing Manager, she established herself as an expert in the hotel industry.
Kimberly got into event planning when Saks Fifth Avenue recruited her to be their Director of Marketing and Special Events for their flagship store in Manhattan. In this role she planned and executed hundreds of lavish events for a host of international high-profile clients.
In 2011 she combined her passion for travel with her event planning and hotel expertise and by launching “Runaway Bride,” an international, destination wedding planning company.
